Your head chef
Enjoy a variety of gourmet specialities, conscientiously prepared with loving dedication, perfectionism - and just a pinch of eccentricity! - by our team of chefs under the capable leadership of our son, Christoph Klauser.
He and his team use their experience, together with the very best regionally sourced produce and a cleverly interpreted use of top-quality ingredients, to bring exceptionally tasty dishes to your table.
For a good start to the day
there’s nothing like a good breakfast buffet – enjoy the heady aroma of coffee and freshly-baked bread.
Where do we buy the milk for the breakfast buffet?
Very locally, actually. It comes from our own happy mountain cows who spend their summer holidays enjoying the lush green grass up on the high alm. And the results are clear: real, healthy alpine milk and good, tasty mountain cheese.
Moments to savour
In the afternoon between 13.30 and 17.00 you can indulge in a warm snack from our soup pot; but don’t overdo it, because in the evening you have a fabulous 5-course dinnerto look forward to, with a choice of 3 main courses! There is also a buffet offering a selection of fresh, crunchy, vitamin-rich salads. Once a week we have a themed evening – such as a country buffet, a fondue evening, a selection of regional specialities or a candlelight dinner.
A good drop of wine
Our great wine cellar offers a good selection of fine quality Austrian wines as well as numerous international vintages. So sit back, enjoy your holiday, and let the day draw to a pleasant close with a good drop of something old and noble!
Our dress code
It is most important to us that our guests should feel at home, and an appropriate dress code plays a crucial role in achieving this. On principle, we do not want to dictate what our guests should and should not wear. However, since we strive tirelessly to maintain the highest standard of quality, ambience and simple good taste, it is much appreciated when guests show their recognition of this by dressing appropriately.
